Relic Hunter ran between 1999 and 2002 and stared Tia Carrere as Sydney Fox and Christien Anholt as Nigel Bailey. It ran for three seasons with 66 episodes. Sydney Fox is a professor of ancient studies at a American university called Trinity. She works along side her bumbling British assistant Nigel Bailey and the secretary Claudia who left at the end of the second season and was replaced by Karen (See the Friends And Foes page for character profiles). As well as a teacher Sydney is a relic hunter and every now and again she and her assistant are called upon to find ancient lost artefacts and solve the mystery that surround them. On the Hunts the pair encounter rival relic hunters who will do anything to get their hands on the relic which they intend to sell to private collectors. Luckily Sydney Fox can easily get them both out of the situations unharmed due to her amazing fighting skill which many have underestimated. Nigel on the other hand usually lets the professor do all the ass kicking but occasionally whacks someone over the head with something (including a bag of flour!).
